FAQ's

Can't find what you're looking for?

  • What types of photography services do you offer?
I offer personalized project-based photography services that are tailored to your specific needs and preferences. I am skilled in a vast range of photographic styles and techniques, and I am capable of handling many projects, big or small. Shoot me a message with your ideas, if you want to explore how we can bring your vision to life.
  • How much do your services cost?
Every photography project is unique, and the cost of my services reflects that. I work with a project-based pricing model, which takes into account several factors, such as the equipment required, travel expenses, editing time, and the amount of time required to capture the images that bring your vision to life. To get a customized quote, please send me a message with the details of your project, and I'll provide you with a custom quotation as well as a detailed breakdown of the costs.
  • Will I receive every Image that you take during the shoot?
I believe that the final edited product represents my brand and work at its best. Just as a chef wouldn't serve raw ingredients, I prefer not to share unedited photos. Additionally, handling and transferring high-resolution image files can be costly and cumbersome due to their large sizes, often exceeding 50MB per image. Most free cloud-based transfer services have a 2GB limit, making it impractical for RAW file sharing. However, collaboration is at the heart of what I do and we will often arrange a separate time for you to review "draft" versions of the final images. This way, we can discuss my selection process and choose the photos that best showcase you and your brand, reducing the need for unedited or RAW files. If you still require them, please understand that they may incur an extra handling cost and involve a separate contract for their use.
  • Do you shoot RAW or JPEG?
I shoot both RAW and JPEG files simultaneously, which means that your precious memories are captured in multiple formats for maximum quality and flexibility. The RAW files contain the full range of information, giving me greater control over the editing process and allowing me to bring out the best in every shot. But don't worry, I also record JPEG files on a separate SD card as a precaution! In the unlikely event that one of the SD cards fails, you can rest easy knowing that your photos are still safe and sound on the other card. It's all about giving you peace of mind and ensuring that your experience with me is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
  • Do you have a studio?
We can certainly have one! While I don't own my own studio at the moment, that doesn't mean we can't make your photoshoot idea happen. I have connections with several photo-studios that may be able to accommodate your needs. There’s no need to worry about budget either, as the rates for using a studio are very similar to what I would charge if I had my own. Additionally, we can always explore a pop-up studio type shoot, which is even more accessible. All we need is a room with sufficient space, and I can take care of the rest - from providing a coloured backdrop to setting up the lighting. Let's work together to find a solution that meets your needs and budget.
  • How long will our session take?
The duration of your session will depend on the type of photography and the complexity of the project. We can discuss your unique timing needs during a consultation, or you can hit the ‘contact’ button below to get straight through to me.
  • Do you backup and secure images?
Absolutely, the security and backup of your images is always important -It's at the core of what I do. I have multiple backup systems in place to ensure that your images are protected and accessible. That being said, unfortunately things do happen that are out of anyone's control. So it's always highly recommend that you do make a copy of your images, when you first download them to your own device. This way, you have an additional backup in case anything were to happen. In the rare case that you do lose your images and are unable to retrieve them from your own backup, I do offer a retrieval service for a fee of €100, once the images have been archived on my end. However, please note that I don't hold any responsibility for keeping your images beyond when you first download them. So it's always best to make sure you have your own backup just in case. If you do need to retrieve lost images, please don't hesitate to contact me.
  • Do you provide video services too?
Yes, while I am primarily a photographer, I am able to produce video for you to a limited capacity. I offer behind-the-scenes videos and have recently begun creating and delivering short-form video content, which you can see examples of below. Feel free to contact me with any video ideas you may have, and we can discuss what I can do for you. Unfortunately, some video services I cannot offer include wedding videography. This is not because I am unable to, but rather because I know how much effort and talent professional wedding videographers have and put into their work. I wouldn’t want to sell you content that is not the same quality or compete for their business.
  • Even if it's dark, can you still take good photos?
Absolutely! I understand that lighting conditions can be challenging, but rest assured that I have experience working in really low-light situations. In fact, when I was in the army I once captured a 30-second-long image handheld, without even being able to see the subject in front of me. You can take a look at it below. While it's true that I could have used artificial lighting to produce a higher quality image in that particular situation, it just goes to show that even with limited equipment, I am usually prepared for most scenarios. So, even if it's really dark during your shoot, I will certainly work with you to produce the best possible image, and we will make it happen!
  • Can I get the photos same-day?
Depending on the project's requirements and my availability, I may be able to provide same-day delivery for an additional fee. Contact me below and let’s see what can be done in your circumstances.
  • Can you photograph the entire day?
Yes I can shoot for the whole day or even for multiple days, depending on a project's requirements and my own availability.
  • What if I want my shoot in a certain style?
Sure, I'm more than happy to discuss your desired style and work with you to achieve it as closely as possible. Collaboration and incorporating your ideas is key in making sure you are satisfied with the end result. However, it's important to keep in mind that photography is an art form and everyone has their own unique style. If my style doesn't quite align with what you have in mind, don't worry. I would never want to compromise your vision, and there are always more options. Let's work together to create something you'll love.
  • What if I lose my Images?
In the rare case that you do lose your images after your custom download page has expired and are unable to retrieve them from your own backup, I do offer a retrieval service for a fee of €100, once the images have been archived on my end. However, please note that I hold no responsibility for keeping your images for longer than when you first download them. So it's always best to make sure you have your own backup, just in case. If you do need to retrieve lost images, please don't hesitate to contact me.
  • How many Images will I receive?
In our contract, we will specify details beforehand. However, here's a brief overview of how the final image count is usually determined and why every photo I take isn't included in the final invoice: Depending on the shoot type, I may capture between 50 and 1000 photos to ensure quality. This is why you're always billed based on the final images delivered, not the entire set. These selected images undergo a meticulous curation and editing process to achieve a high-quality end result, eliminating less favorable shots and ensuring quality. This approach guarantees the delivery of a final product that perfectly aligns with your expectations.
